What should I expect from mobile speech and occupational therapy services?
We love working with individuals in their daily environments. As mobile speech and occupational therapy providers, we can provide therapy in your home, day care, or assisted living. Working with our clients in their most natural environment increases generalization and allows us to work toward functional goals.

What should I expect during the initial evaluation?

During the evaluation, we focus on learning as much as possible about the client in order to develop goals to best meet their individual needs. We determine goals based on results of standardized and informal assessments, dynamic assessment, caregiver/family member report, and client input. Our evaluations are typically an hour in duration but this can vary. We set the frequency of speech therapy sessions based on evaluation results and client need. We will bring all necessary materials and you do not need to prepare anything for the evaluation.

What should I expect during the treatment session?
During the visit, we focus on choosing an approach that makes our client most comfortable. For a child, this may be engaging in play based therapy to best meet their goals. For an adult, this may be engaging in an activity that is of interest to them. We typically see our clients one to two times per week but this varies based on client need.

What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept health insurance and private pay. We accept payment through our HIPAA compliant portal. Authorization to accept payment is completed during the intake process. We accept credit card, HSA, and FSA payments. Payment is automatically charged each week following your speech therapy session.

What health insurance do you accept?
We currently accept Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, Harvard Pilgrim, Allways, Mass General Brigham and United Healthcare. If you are out of network we will provide you with an invoice to submit to your insurer for possible reimbursement.

What should I ask my health insurance provider?
We recommend that our clients contact their health insurance provider to determine their speech therapy benefits.  Insurance varies per plan and individual so confirming your outpatient speech therapy benefits is important. We can also help you determine your speech therapy benefits but our verification is not a guarantee of coverage.

What should I expect with teletherapy services?
We have great success with our teletherapy clients and recent studies have shown that teletherapy is proven to be as effective as in-person treatment. We make our sessions engaging and motivating for our clients to maintain their interest level and participation. Teletherapy offers a convenient approach to speech therapy treatment for many of our families.
